Spring is finally in the air after what felt like a never-ending winter. Unfortunately, with what is happening all over the world, instead of spending time admiring the flowers and being excited to spend more time outdoors, we are all dealing with an unprecedented experience.
One of my favorite things to do as the weather got nicer in my hometown of Beacon, New York, was to walk along the Hudson River and take in all of the beautiful scenery and aromas of the fresh Spring air, such as the blossoming flowers and newly cut grass. With all of the uncertainties of today, regrettably we are in need of replacing those outdoor walks.
In order to get myself in a better frame of mind, I have reached for some of my favorite essential oils and aromatic soaps to get me through the day.
The strong scent of cucumber leaves you with a sense of calmness and has been known to help with anger and rage. The cucumber essential oil contains powerful anti-aging properties and assists in removing toxins from the body. There is no doubt this will leave you feeling refreshed and better than before.
Flower Child contains jasmine essential oil, which has been known to be a natural remedy in improving your mood, overcoming stress, as well as balancing hormones. The aromas of green tea, jasmine, vanilla, musk and amber envelop you, leaving you with a divine sense of calmness and relaxation.
This contains one of the best mild exfoliates we have tried to date in the form of shredded loofah. Grapefruit oil can ease headaches, mental fatigue and depression. It’s packed with beautiful scents that will leave you feeling refreshed.
This sweet, fruity scent leaves you feeling happy and relaxed, making it the perfect option for today’s atmosphere. The orange essential oil within the soap can provide relief from inflammation which is a great way to stay healthy.
It’s definitely safe to say during this time we are all going to be looking for ways to stay calm and refreshed. Our soaps were designed to nourish your mind, body and soul. We hope they can help you take a bit of a break and escape today’s challenges.
